Campaigns & automation

Capture forms

Capture lets you build forms to collect information from leads, visitors, and event attendees. Submissions can flow straight into Pulse and trigger automations.

Create a form

  1. Open Capture from the menu to see your forms as a grid with submission counts.
  2. Choose New Form and pick the form type:
    • Public form: a standalone form that lives on Connect, where anyone with the link can submit.
    • Campaign form: a form that belongs to a campaign (see Campaigns). Campaign forms are a premium capability and are available when campaigns are part of your plan.
  3. Build the form in the single-screen builder (see below).
  4. Save. The form type is chosen at creation and cannot be changed after the form is first saved.

The form builder

The builder is a single screen, so you can shape the whole form in one place:

  • Add fields from the field picker and they appear on the canvas.
  • Reorder fields by dragging them into the order you want.
  • Edit each field inline: set its label, mark it required, and adjust its options without leaving the page.
  • Preview the live form with an inline Edit/Preview toggle, and switch between a desktop and a mobile preview to see exactly how respondents experience it on each device.

Field types

You can add any of these fields:

  • Text
  • Email
  • Phone (with a country code)
  • Number
  • Country
  • Date
  • Dropdown
  • Checkbox
  • Notes
  • File upload
  • Business-card scanner
  • Table: a grid field with up to 5 typed columns. Each column can be text, email, number, phone, country, date, dropdown, or checkbox, and respondents add as many rows as they need. This is handy for line items, attendee lists, and other repeating data.

Multi-step forms

A form can be a single screen, or a multi-step wizard with a progress bar and Back and Next navigation. You group your fields into steps, and required fields on earlier steps are enforced before a respondent can move on or finish.

Multi-step forms are available for public forms only (not campaign forms) and are a premium feature gated by a plan limit. If multi-step is not on your plan, you will see an upgrade prompt when you try to use it.

Spam protection

Every form is protected by a single Cloudflare Turnstile challenge that the respondent completes before submitting. There is one challenge per form, and if the form includes a business-card scanner it shares the same challenge.

Publish and share

  • Toggle a form Active to make it live, or inactive to pause it.
  • Copy the form's public link to share it.
  • Choose View to open the form's submissions. While editing a form, the inline Preview shows how it looks to a visitor.

Manage your forms

  • Duplicate a form to reuse its structure.
  • Archive a form to hide it. Archiving is a soft-delete: the form is kept and you can restore it later. There is no permanent delete.
  • Filter the list to show Active, All, or Archived forms, and search by name.

Each form card shows the number of fields and total submissions.

What a visitor sees

A public form shows your title and description, the fields you added, and clear validation (for example a valid email, a country code with a phone number, and allowed file types and sizes). A multi-step form guides the visitor through each step with a progress bar and Back and Next buttons. On phones, a field can offer a business-card scanner that uses the camera to read a card and fill the fields automatically. Before submitting, the visitor completes a single spam-protection challenge. After submitting, the visitor sees a thank-you screen and can submit another response.

If your account is past due, public forms are temporarily disabled until billing is resolved.

Review submissions

Choose View on a form to review its submissions in a table. When you export to CSV:

  • Table-field answers expand into per-row, per-column columns, so each cell of every row becomes its own column.
  • Business-card fields expand into their detected fields.

Plan limits

Your plan sets how many forms you can have, whether campaign forms are available, and whether multi-step forms are enabled. If you reach a limit or try a premium feature you do not have, you will see an upgrade prompt. See Plans, seats & billing.

Next steps

  • Turn submissions into contacts automatically with Flows.
  • Group forms and add a landing page with Campaigns.
