Team & organization

Files

Files is a document library inside Kardania Loop. Store the things your team keeps sending each other, preview them without downloading, and share them with the right people. It is a premium feature: if your plan does not include it, you will see an upgrade prompt instead.

My Files and Shared with me

Files has two views:

  • My Files is your own library.
  • Shared with me is everything other people have shared with you, grouped by where it lives.

Upload and organize

  1. Open Files from the menu and choose Upload file. The uploader tells you which file types are supported.
  2. Create a folder to group related documents, and subfolders inside it if you need another level.
  3. Anything not in a folder sits under Unfiled.

Deleting a folder does not delete what is inside it: the files move to Unfiled, so nothing is lost by tidying up.

Switch between grid and list view, and sort by name (A to Z or Z to A) or by date (newest or oldest first).

Work with a file

Open a file to preview it in place, or download it. From the file's actions you can:

  • Edit its name and add a description, so a document explains itself later.
  • Move it to a different folder.
  • Delete it.

Doing several at once

Select more than one file to act on them together. The selection bar shows how many you have chosen, and lets you delete them, move them into a folder, or set a description across the selection.

The search box finds files by name. There are two scopes:

  • My files searches your own library, including inside folders you have not opened.
  • Shared files searches across the spaces shared with you, so a document attached to a campaign or an opportunity is findable from here rather than only from inside that record.

Storage

A Storage used indicator shows how much of your allowance you have consumed, as an amount used against your plan's total. Some plans are unlimited, in which case it simply shows the amount used.

Landing page assets

If your team builds campaign landing pages, you may see a view-only folder called Landing page assets. It holds the images the page editor generated when someone cropped or uploaded an image directly into a page. These count towards storage, and they cannot be renamed, moved, or deleted from here. To remove one, delete the block that uses it in the page editor.

Plan limits

Files is a premium feature. Your plan sets whether it is available and how much storage you get. If you reach the limit you will be prompted to upgrade. See Plans, seats & billing.

Where this fits

Files is the shared library. Documents attached to a specific campaign or opportunity live with that record and stay findable from here. See Campaigns and Companies & contacts, and keep written work in Notes.
