Exporting data & deleting your account

Loop lets you download a copy of your account data at any time, and gives the account owner a safe, reversible way to delete the account.

Export your data

You can request a full export of your account data as a downloadable archive.

1. Go to the account data or deletion page and choose Export now (you can export without deleting anything).
2. Loop prepares a ZIP archive containing CSV files (users, companies, contacts, brands, branches, activities, form submissions, and payment history) plus an account.json metadata file and a README. Uploaded media such as avatars and branch images is not included in the archive.
3. The export runs in the background. When it is ready, we email you a secure download link.
4. The link is valid for 7 days.

The export is for portability and record-keeping. It deliberately leaves out credentials and secrets (such as integration tokens), which are not useful outside Loop and should not be moved around.

Delete your account

Account deletion is permanent, so it is restricted to the Account Owner and built with safeguards.

What happens

1. Your account moves to a Pending Deletion state for a 14-day cooldown.
2. During the cooldown the account becomes read-only: you can sign in and look, but not edit or add integrations.
3. Your subscription is cancelled at the end of the billing period. The remaining time is not refunded.
4. When the 14 days end, all account data is permanently deleted, including users, companies, contacts, brands, branches, forms, files, and audit logs.

How to request deletion

1. Go to the account deletion page (Owner only; others are redirected away).
2. Read the warnings carefully.
3. Tick the box to confirm you have read and agree to the Terms of Service.
4. Type the confirmation phrase exactly as shown (your company name, preceded by the word delete).
5. Optionally tick the box to also start a data export at the same time.
6. Choose Delete Account. You will see the date the cooldown ends.

Changed your mind

You can cancel the deletion at any time during the 14-day cooldown. A Cancel deletion option appears while the account is pending deletion. Cancelling stops the process and keeps your data. Note that cancelling does not automatically resume a cancelled subscription, so review your plan afterward.

Tips

• Run an export before deleting, so you keep a copy of your records.
