Permissions & managers
The Permissions area lets you control access in detail: which modules a person can use, and which parts of your organization they manage. It is a single page with stacked sections, available to Full Access users.
Permission groups
A permission group is a predefined bundle of module access. Each group already switches a fixed set of modules on, for example Users, Gadgets, Capture, Campaigns, Flows, Integrations, Pulse CRM, Reports, Lookups, and Settings. You cannot create a new group, rename one, or toggle its modules from the UI.
What you manage is who belongs to each group:
- Open Permissions and go to the Permission Groups section.
- Find the group you want on the list.
- Click the edit (pencil) icon on the group's row to open its people page.
- Add or remove people from the group there, then save.
A user can belong to more than one group, and their access is the combination of all of them. Common patterns include a CRM-only group, a forms-only group, and a full administrator group.
Changes to a person's groups take effect on their next sign-in, and within about an hour for an active session, without forcing them to log out.
Brand Managers
In the Brand Managers section you can assign one user to manage each brand. A Brand Manager can manage that brand and every branch beneath it.
Branch Managers
In the Branch Managers section you assign one user to manage each branch. A Branch Manager is limited to that single branch.
Managers can do most things within their scope, but a few actions stay restricted: they cannot change another user's email or status, and a Branch Manager cannot move a user to a different branch. This keeps sensitive changes consistent across your organization.
Email recipients
In the Email Recipients section you choose which existing account users receive enterprise-wide email notifications, such as billing and audit alerts. Use the Manage Recipients action to pick from your account's users; you cannot type a free-form email address. The Account Owner is always the primary recipient.
A good starting setup
- Put your core admins in the full-access group so they can manage everything.
- Add people to the task-focused groups that match their work (for example a CRM group for sales, a campaigns-and-forms group for marketing).
- Assign Brand and Branch Managers so regional leads only see their own data.
- Choose your finance and operations users under Email Recipients.
